WHY BACKORDERS?

We are always happy to let you know when items are "in stock now" because we hand make limited quantities of all our products. Some items you order may be "back ordered." What does that mean? Back order means your item is made to order. We know in this fast fashion world that waiting for your item can be difficult. You might wonder why we don't produce more upfront. 

We believe that quantity and quality are both environmental issues.

The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to landfills. By made-to-order fulfillment we can be sure that we don't use resources to produce something that may never find a forever home. 

In addition to not over-producing, we also guarantee our garments. We will repair, re-paint, resole any item for the duration of it's life. We want you to love your purchase while feeling good about supporting a company that is trying to make decisions to support our Earth.
